Salon Furniture and Station Financing for Las Vegas, Nevada Salons and Barbershops

In short

Starbend Commercial Capital, a small-business funding service in Las Vegas, NV, explains salon furniture financing for Clark County, NV salons and barbershops: building the remodel quote, how booth rent and commission models read to a partner, salon equipment loans versus merchant cash advances, and a worked example.

Build the quote first

A salon remodel quote may list styling stations, hydraulic or all-purpose chairs, shampoo units and bowls, dryers, reception furniture, retail shelving and installation. Shampoo units need plumbing, and pedicure spas need plumbing and electrical, which are soft costs. Salon furniture financing may be available from equipment partners and from some furniture vendors directly; ask each what share of installation they cover.

Booth rent, commission or wages

A booth-rent salon earns rent from independent stylists; a commission salon earns a share of each service; an employee salon earns all service revenue and pays wages. Partners read each differently. Booth rent is steady but depends on keeping chairs filled; commission and wage models depend on bookings. Bring the rental agreements or the commission structure along with bank statements.

Salon equipment loan or an advance?

A salon equipment loan is secured by the furniture and repaid on a fixed schedule over its working life. A merchant cash advance is not a loan: it buys future card receipts and collects a share of daily sales. For a remodel, which lasts years, an installment structure spreads the cost across that life. Compare the total payback of both before choosing.

A worked example (illustrative, not an offer)

A salon adds six stations at $2,600 each, two shampoo units at $3,200 each and reception furniture at $4,000: $26,000 in furniture. Plumbing for the shampoo units adds $3,000. Financing the $26,000 over 48 months at an annual rate of 12%, chosen for arithmetic, gives a payment of about $685 a month. If two of the new stations are rented at $275 a week each, booth rent of about $2,380 a month covers the payment three times over, provided the chairs stay rented.

What partners may read for a salon

  • Bank and card statements
  • Tax returns and the lease
  • Booth rental or commission agreements
  • The furniture quote and installation estimate
